Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen praised his side’s discipline, intensity and attacking fluency after they beat Bromley 7-2 at Hillsborough. He said the performance showed growing balance within his team, though he was unhappy that they conceded twice after establishing a 7-0 lead.

Wednesday were 3-0 ahead by half-time through Callum Slattery, Mason Burstow and Jamal Lowe, before Louie Barry scored twice early in the second half. Lowe added another and Gabriel Otegbayo made it seven, while Bromley replied through Victor Adeboyejo’s penalty and an Otegbayo own goal; Pedersen particularly welcomed his team’s handling of Bromley’s direct play.
