Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 will host two "Shiny power hour" events on Saturday 18 July, boosting the appearance rate of special item variants and adding several bonus gameplay perks. The events give players a taste of rarer cosmetic finds and extra combat tools without needing to grind, making them a notable draw for the game's live-service audience over the weekend.

During both power hours, Batman-themed sprites and Gold, Gummy, Galaxy and Holofoil variants will appear more frequently, while every player starts with a Batman Grapnel Gun and a self-revive device. The Sprite Hunt rift anomaly returns and the Battle Bus Victory Royale anomaly is guaranteed to occur. The first window runs from 2-4pm EDT (7-9pm BST) on Saturday, and the second from 9-11pm EDT (2-4am BST on Sunday) for UK players.
