Shudder Acquires Supernatural Horror Movie ‘Sundown’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Shudder has acquired the rights to *Sundown*, a supernatural horror film directed by Rebekah McKendry. The story follows three generations of women who gather at a remote cabin to avenge a death, but discover their captive is not what he seems and that his family is approaching.
The cast includes Olwen Fouéré, Camille Sullivan, Summer H. Howell, Daniel Bernhardt and David Alpay. Joshua Hull and David Ian McKendry wrote the screenplay, while Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash serves as executive producer; the film was reportedly made in extremely cold, snowy conditions and combines revenge, family conflict, monsters and an ’80s vampire-film influence.
