Silent Hill: Townfall director Jon McKellan has said it feels “utterly terrifying” to take on the next instalment in such a well-regarded horror series. Despite the pressure of following earlier games, he said the development team is confident that fans will enjoy the experience.

Townfall is being developed by Screen Burn, formerly known as No Code, with Annapurna Interactive involved in publishing. Few concrete details about the game have been revealed, but its makers have emphasised their respect for Silent Hill’s legacy and its distinctive psychological-horror tone.
