Silverada’s new album, Living Proof, marks a defining moment for the Texas honky-tonk band as it reinforces its identity following a 2024 rebrand from Mike and the Moonpies. The group has replaced founding pedal-steel guitarist Zachary Moulton with keyboard player Parker Twomey, a change that broadens its sound while retaining its country character.

The 10-track album was self-produced at Sonic Ranch Studios near El Paso after months of soundcheck jam sessions helped the revised line-up develop new material. Silverada, now led by Mike Harmeier alongside guitarist Catlin Rutherford, drummer Taylor Englert, bassist Omar Oyoque and Twomey, chose not to replace the steel guitar directly, instead bringing keyboards into the foreground for the first time.
