Silvertomb, featuring former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly, will release its second album, “The Interpretation Of Nightmares”, on 13 November through Steamhammer. The announcement marks the band’s return after a seven-year hiatus caused by the pandemic and its aftermath, as well as Hickey’s recovery from alcohol problems.

The eight-track doom-metal album follows 2019’s “Edge Of Existence”, which was well received before a planned Monster Magnet tour was cancelled by lockdowns. Its first single, “No Way To Live”, is described as a faster contrast to the record’s more brooding material and addresses rejection and pain; the line-up also includes former Agnostic Front guitarist Joe James, bassist Hank Hell and keyboardist/guitarist Aaron Joos.
