Simple Town Sketch Group Secures North American Deal For Debut Feature ‘Big Break’

Greenwich Entertainment has acquired North American rights to *Big Break*, the debut feature from New York sketch comedy group Simple Town, and plans a nationwide theatrical release next year. The comedic thriller follows the group’s fictionalised former members as they reunite, blending comedy with a slasher story about friendship and ambition.

Will, Caroline and Felipe visit estranged former collaborator Sam at his secluded mansion, hoping to land roles in his sequel to the hit *The Gummy Bears Movie*. As the weekend unfolds, dark secrets emerge and the comedians confront what it means to kill. Directed by Ian Faria from a script by Samuel Lanier, the film premiered at Fantasia Film Festival over the summer; Ivy Wolk and Jefferson White also star.
