Callum Simpson defeated Troy Williamson by unanimous decision to reclaim the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles in their Leeds rematch. The judges scored the bout 116-112, 117-112, and 115-113 in Simpson's favour, allowing the 29-year-old Yorkshireman to avenge his only professional loss—a December knockout defeat where Williamson stopped him in the tenth round.

Fighting under new trainer Rob McCracken, Simpson controlled much of the contest with a powerful right hand that rocked Williamson in the third round, though the 34-year-old challenger remained competitive throughout and pushed hard in the final round. Simpson later revealed he had fought the previous bout with perforated eardrums, while his promoter Ben Shalom expressed confidence about securing a world title opportunity within the next year.
