Actor Simu Liu has signed with talent agency WME, which will represent him across all areas of his career. The move comes as Liu's profile continues to rise following his breakout as the title character in Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and ahead of his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.

Shang-Chi, released in 2021, grossed more than $432 million worldwide despite the film industry still recovering from the pandemic, and Liu will reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday, due out on 16 December. His recent credits include exec-producing and starring in Peacock spy series The Copenhagen Test, playing Rival Ken in Barbie, and completing work on sci-fi thriller Homewrecker alongside Michelle Randolph and Allison Williams, as well as making his Broadway debut in Oh, Mary! Beyond acting, he has written the New York Times bestselling memoir We Were Dreamers and holds roles at venture firm Markham Valley Ventures and food brand MìLà; he remains represented by 1v1 Entertainment, Sloan Offer Weber Dern, and The Lede Company alongside his new WME deal.
