Singapore’s Wave Films Taps Former Cambodian Broadcasting Chief Dave Ulmer To Drive U.S. Expansion

Singapore-based Wave Films has appointed former Cambodian Broadcasting Service chief executive Dave Ulmer as an executive producer in Los Angeles, aiming to expand its work with North American producers. The move is intended to make Southeast Asia’s production facilities, crews, locations and incentives more accessible to US and international projects through a single regional partner.

Wave Films operates production and post-production services in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Cambodia, and is currently line-producing Pierre Morel’s *The Good Samaritan* in Malaysia. Ulmer left Cambodian Broadcasting Service in June 2026 after overseeing channels including CTN, MyTV and CNC; he brings partnerships and production experience across several Asian markets, including Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore.
