Skate is adding a limited-time X Games event to its virtual city, San Vansterdam, marking what developer Full Circle describes as the game’s biggest event so far. The collaboration brings recognisable X Games-style venues into the game and gives players free access, making it a significant content update for the free-to-play skateboarding title.

From 21 July to 25 August, The Stadium will be redesigned with a vert ramp, street park and bowl area. Players can complete 10 challenges, including six in the Stadium and four nearby, as well as four sets of club tasks based on famous tricks from skaters associated with Los Angeles, New York, São Paulo and Tokyo; earned X Coins can buy limited-edition virtual clothing, boards and wheels.
