Sky-high hype: ‘Pilot Picasso’ draws massive GTA 6 mural in 8-hour flight over Arkansas

Commercial pilot and content creator Benjamin McDaniel spent eight hours flying over Arkansas to trace a large GTA 6 mural in the sky. The flight-tracker artwork reflects the intense anticipation around Rockstar Games’ forthcoming game and shows how fan-made publicity is building ahead of its release.

Known online as The Pilot Picasso, McDaniel creates images by following a planned flight path guided by onboard technology. His GTA 6 design spells out the game’s title and includes a helicopter, palm trees, an alligator, a sports car and a figure in sunglasses; the article says the game is due to launch on 19 November.
