Departing executives include Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke, Domenic DiMeglio, Marco Nobili, Pank Patel and Juan Sola. J.B. Perrette said the structure is intended to combine local expertise with global capabilities and improve coordination between TV and streaming.

In short

  • Skydance has set out its TV and streaming leadership team.
  • Five executives take new roles across DTC and television.
  • Seven leaders from Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount are leaving.

Explained simply

Skydance is a film and television company that is joining forces with Paramount as part of a wider deal involving Warner Bros. Discovery. Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery each have television businesses and streaming services, so bringing them together means deciding how those operations will be managed.

The new leadership roles cover areas such as communications, marketing, operations and finance across television and direct-to-consumer services. J.B. Perrette, who oversees streaming and international operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, says the structure is intended to link local knowledge with the companies’ wider reach. These choices matter because they will shape how the combined business runs its TV and streaming work in different markets.
