SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS Release Official Lyric Video For ‘Flying Blind’ Title Track
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have released a lyric video for “Flying Blind”, the title track of their fifth album, due on 26 February 2027 through Gibson Records. Slash says the record reflects the band’s current sound and was made in an informal, collaborative way.
The 12-track album was recorded largely live at Studio Barbarosa in Florida with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Most songs were written during pre-production, with only two drawn from older unfinished ideas; the group later recorded the rhythm section together, then added vocals and guitar overdubs. Slash said he avoided repeatedly listening to the finished album before release so he would not be tempted to reopen recording decisions.
In short
- “Flying Blind” is due on 26 February 2027.
- Most of the album was written during pre-production.
- The 12 tracks were recorded largely live in Florida.
Explained simply
Slash is the guitarist best known for his work with Guns N’ Roses and later formed a solo band with singer Myles Kennedy, who is also the frontman of Alter Bridge. The group, often called Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, has released several albums together.
Their album “Flying Blind” is their fifth, following a recording approach that brought the musicians together to play much of the material live. Producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, who has worked with the band before, oversaw the sessions. The album’s release through Gibson Records also connects the project to the guitar maker associated with Slash’s signature instruments.
