Slate teams up with Smarties to add candy colors to its EV trucks

Slate is partnering with Smarties to offer six pastel-coloured wraps for its stripped-back electric truck, giving buyers another way to customise it. The deal matters because personalisation is a central part of the truck’s appeal, despite its low-cost, no-frills approach.

The wrap colours are named after Smarties flavours: Strawberry is green, Pineapple yellow, Orange beige, Grape lavender, Cherry pink and Blue Raspberry light blue. Each package also includes branded key-fob and vent charms, plus a Smarties logo on the rear gate; pricing has not been announced, and buyers can add a wrap before delivery. Slate previously partnered with Crayola on wraps in five branded colours.
