Sleaford Mods to headline ‘Gig For Gaza’ at London’s Troxy with Baxter Dury and more

NME · 41 minutes ago

Sleaford Mods will headline a new "Gig For Gaza" fundraising concert at London's Troxy on Saturday 24 October, joined by Baxter Dury, Joe Armon-Jones and Sinead Ashiokai, with further guests to be confirmed. All proceeds from the show will go to Gaza Forever UK and Medical Aid for Palestinians, continuing a series of charity gigs that has already featured artists including Paul Weller, members of Madness, Primal Scream, The Specials, The Clash and Kneecap. The band said the show remains important as coverage of the conflict fades from headlines while the humanitarian situation continues to worsen.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 11 September at 9am BST. Previous instalments of the "Gig For Gaza" series, held in November 2024, March 2025 and last July, have together raised more than £55,000 for UNICEF's Gaza appeal. Sleaford Mods have separately supported children affected by the conflict through charity singles and tour donations benefiting War Child, having raised over £47,000 for that cause, while frontman Jason Williamson previously clarified his stance on the Israel-Hamas war following an incident at a 2023 Madrid concert.
