Slothrust have announced their first album in five years, What They Grow In The Garden, due on 18 September via Equal Vision. The Los Angeles-based Boston alt-rock band have also released two new singles, “Ring The Bell” and “00101001”, previewing the album’s more expansive, gothic production.

The 12-track record follows 2021’s Parallel Timeline and includes the earlier single “Burn The Deck”. Leah Wellbaum and Will Gorin co-produced it with Jordan Witzigreuter of the Ready Set, making it Slothrust’s first album as a duo after former bassist Kyle Bann’s departure following sexual-assault allegations in 2021.
