Small plane hits truck during heart-pounding emergency landing on busy Florida highway, wild video shows

Two pilots made an emergency landing on a busy road in Fort Myers after their small plane developed a mechanical problem. The plane clipped a pickup truck after touching down, but continued along the highway; no one was injured.

The aircraft had taken off from Sebring at about 11am and landed roughly 50 minutes later, according to flight tracking data. The incident comes less than a week after a Learjet crash in Palm Beach killed all nine people on board; investigators are still examining its cause.
