‘SNL’s Sarah Sherman Signs With WME

Deadline · 2 months ago

Comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member Sarah Sherman has signed with talent agency WME, which will support her expansion into film and television alongside her ongoing original projects. The move reflects the growing profile of Sherman, who performs stand-up under the name Sarah Squirm and has been an SNL regular for five seasons since joining in 2021.

Sherman released her debut comedy special, Sarah Squirm: Live + In The Flesh, last December, directed by Cody Critcheloe and featuring John Waters, for HBO. She will next appear in Jane Schoenbrun's slasher film Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at this year's Cannes Film Festival, and has previously featured in Adam Sandler-produced films including Roommates and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! Sherman remains represented by Rise Management and law firm Hansen, Jacobsen, Teller.
