Snoopy’s First New Christmas Special in 5 Years Comes With a Twist
Snoopy and the Peanuts gang will return in their first new Christmas special in five years, with *Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy* premiering on Apple TV on 13 November. The story follows Snoopy as he tries to discover why he is on Santa’s naughty list and prove he deserves a place on the nice list, while exploring kindness and community.
The 54th Peanuts television special, and the ninth new one since Apple took over the franchise, features original music by John Legend, Raphael Saadiq, Kamasi Washington and Leon Bridges, a Laufey cover, and a score by Jeff Morrow. Its early November release gives families time to hear about it and plan a viewing, though it will compete with established Peanuts holiday favourites such as *A Charlie Brown Christmas*, which first aired in 1965.
