Soccer Drama ‘Forza,’ With AC Milan Great Alessandro Costacurta, Heads to Tokyo Market With EST N8 (EXCLUSIVE)

Soccer drama “Forza”, directed by Marco Balsamo and featuring former AC Milan player Alessandro Costacurta, has been picked up for international sales by EST N8. The company will present it to buyers at the Tokyo film market after its first public screening at Jakarta Film Week, where strong ticket demand has drawn attention to the film.

The story follows Bima, an 11-year-old Balinese boy who hopes football can improve his family’s life, and a former professional player nearing the end of his career. Newcomer Ghazi Alhabsyi leads a cast that also includes Costacurta and Indonesian actors Atiqah Hasiholan, Oka Antara and Tio Pakusadewo. Both online ticket releases for the Jakarta screening sold out within five minutes; an Indonesian theatrical release is planned for 2027.
