Sofia Hasmik, Grace Kelly Quigley & Imogen Waterhouse Leading Indie Feature ‘Sissy’

Sofia Hasmik, Grace Kelly Quigley and Imogen Waterhouse have joined Sissy, the debut independent feature from writer-director Dejan Mrkic. The casting sets up a sibling thriller centred on an unexpected family reunion, with filming planned for this year.

The story unfolds over one night in Los Angeles: Hasmik plays Kim, an ageing porn star who takes custody of her abandoned 11-year-old half-sister Franki, played by Quigley. They encounter a notorious Hollywood horror producer as they make their way through the city. The film is in pre-production, with cinematography by Hayden Mason; Mrkic will co-produce with Javier Gonzalez, whose credits include Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner In the Summers.
