Sombr Sets 2027 Arena Tour of Australia and New Zealand
US pop star Sombr has announced his first arena tour of Australia and New Zealand, set for April 2027 as part of his You Are The Reason Tour. The run, produced by Frontier Touring, follows a sold-out theatre tour and a well-received Spilt Milk festival appearance in the region in December 2025, and marks a significant step up in venue size for the 21-year-old New Yorker, reflecting his rapid chart success in both markets over the past year.
The five-date tour begins on 13 April at Adelaide's AEC Arena, before moving to Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena (15 April), Brisbane Entertainment Centre (19 April), Sydney's Afterpay Arena (22 April) and finishing at Auckland's Spark Arena on 27 April. His debut album, I Barely Know Her, reached No. 6 on the ARIA Chart, while singles "Undressed" (No. 2), "Back To Friends" (No. 3) and "12 To 12" (No. 6) all placed in Australia's top 20; he has also charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot 100 Songwriters ranking. Tickets go on sale at 12pm local time on Tuesday, 9 September.

Sombr, born Shane Boose, is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from New York who has become one of pop's fastest-rising acts over the past year. His debut album, I Barely Know Her, and singles including "Undressed" and "Back To Friends" have performed strongly on both the US Billboard charts and Australia's ARIA charts, building a large fanbase well beyond America.
He has visited Australia and New Zealand before, playing a sold-out theatre tour and appearing at the Spilt Milk festival in December 2025. The newly announced run is his first at arena level, a much larger venue category, reflecting how quickly his popularity has grown in that part of the world.
The tour is being staged by Frontier Touring, a major promoter that regularly brings international artists to Australian and New Zealand venues, and forms part of Sombr's wider "You Are The Reason Tour."
