First 4 Figures has officially opened pre-orders for its Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Sonic statues, tied into Sonic Frontiers and released as part of the character's 35th anniversary celebrations. The statues follow Sega's recent shadow-drop of Sonic Frontiers – Definitive Edition on Switch 2, and give fans a way to mark the anniversary with premium collectibles, though delivery is a long way off.

Buyers can choose from a standard Sonic statue ($449.99), a Sonic exclusive edition ($499.99), a standard Super Sonic statue ($449.99), a Super Sonic exclusive edition ($499.99), or a combined bundle of both exclusive editions ($979.99), with early bird discounts currently available on all versions. All of the statues are estimated to ship in the third quarter of 2027. The anniversary has also brought a Classic Sonic content update to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and the announcement of two further Sonic collections for Switch.
