Jamie Stevens will leave her role as executive vice-president of Worldwide Consumer Products at Sony Pictures on 4 September, ending a decade with the studio. Her departure matters because she has overseen the commercial expansion of Sony’s film and television franchises through licensing, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer initiatives; a successor has not yet been named.

Stevens joined Sony Pictures in 2016 and led consumer-product strategies for brands including Ghostbusters, Hotel Transylvania, Jumanji, The Boys and Cobra Kai. Sony said she built a strong global team and broadened the reach of its intellectual-property portfolio, while Stevens is reportedly leaving to spend more time with family and pursue personal projects.
