Sony’s Killing This Ratchet & Clank Game Before It Even Comes Out
Developer Oh BiBi is ending work on Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, a mobile multiplayer game that was preparing for a global launch after limited releases in several countries. The decision means the game will close before reaching a worldwide audience, despite plans for pre-registration and a broader release.
The final update is planned for 6 November 2026, and the app will be removed from stores on 21 November. Existing players can continue until the servers shut permanently on 1 May 2027; in-app purchases have been removed, and premium content is now free or earnable through play. The game had user ratings of 4.2 from 93 App Store reviews and 4.4 from more than 2,000 Google Play ratings.
In short
- Ranger Rumble is ending before its global launch.
- The app leaves stores on 21 November 2026.
