Sony’s $100 PlayStation Pulse headset launches on 19 November
Sony’s PlayStation Pulse wireless headset will go on sale on 19 November in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and more than a dozen other countries. Priced at $100, it offers a lower-cost option than Sony’s Pulse Elite and adds features aimed at improving game audio and communication.
Pre-orders open on 29 October, while availability elsewhere will be announced later. The headset comes in white or midnight black and has larger planar magnetic drivers than its predecessor, which Sony says provide deeper bass and help players locate directional sounds. It supports Bluetooth and PlayStation Link for compatible devices, and its microphone uses AI-enhanced noise rejection; a higher-end Pulse Edge is planned for 2027.
