Soundcore Space 2 headphones reach record-low price of $106.49

The Verge ·

Soundcore’s Space 2 noise-cancelling headphones are on sale for $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart, a new low price that is $23 off. The discount makes the successor to the well-regarded Space One more affordable, despite a $30 increase over the earlier model’s launch price.

The Space 2 improve active noise cancellation, especially for low-frequency sounds such as train and aircraft engines, and offer more accurate audio with support for high-resolution LDAC. Battery life reaches up to 50 hours with ANC on and 70 hours with it off, compared with 40 and 55 hours on the Space One. They also include personalised HearID 3.0 sound settings, a 3.5mm jack for wired listening and automatic playback pause when removed.

In short

  • Soundcore Space 2 headphones are at a record-low $106.49.
  • The $23 discount is available at three major retailers.
  • They offer improved ANC and up to 70 hours of battery life.

Explained simply

Soundcore is an audio brand owned by Anker, which makes headphones and other consumer electronics. Its Space line is a range of over-ear headphones designed to reduce outside noise, a feature known as active noise cancellation.

The Space 2 follow the Space One, adding changes to noise reduction, sound options and battery life. LDAC is a wireless audio format that can carry more sound detail on compatible devices, while HearID adjusts sound settings to suit a listener.
