South International Series Festival to Launch 2027 Investors Week, Linking Producers With Private Capital
South International Series Festival will launch South Investors Week in Cádiz from 30 April to 5 May 2027, bringing audiovisual producers together with private financiers. The forum is intended to connect companies seeking investment with potential financial and industrial partners, as Spain’s screen sector looks for ways to fund growth beyond individual productions.
Organised with Mira Anta, the event will include project pitches, investment presentations, one-to-one meetings and discussions about financing and business models. Mira Anta Media Capital Fund I is targeting €80 million and plans to invest in audiovisual companies and productions, as well as virtual production and related technologies. The festival’s 2027 edition will also mark its move from autumn to spring; international finance firms are expected, but have not yet been named.
