Jacksonville heavy hardcore band Southpaw FLHC has cancelled their upcoming tour and issued a public statement denying they are Nazis, after every support act and several venues pulled out amid backlash over drummer Harrison Linder wearing clothing from Curb Stomp Manufacturing, a Californian brand that sells apparel featuring Nazi symbols such as Totenkopfs and SS lightning bolts. The controversy escalated after fans questioned the band in the comments of their own merch store's Instagram post, prompting a defensive response before the situation spiralled into cancellations across the tour.

Linder had been pictured wearing the Curb Stomp clothing in social media posts dating back to January, and the backlash intensified over the weekend when venues including Empire Live in Albany, New York, cancelled Southpaw's shows. Support acts Arcline, Resist LA and Resistor all announced they were dropping off the tour, which had been due to start on 18 August. In response, the band released a statement and video on Sunday rejecting "Nazism, white supremacy, antisemitism, and every form of racial hatred", with vocalist Daryn LaMontagne describing Linder's wearing of the shirt as an uneducated mistake that had already been addressed months earlier.
