Space Marine 2’s latest updates add Terminator Sorcerers and Steam Workshop support, so you can now play co-op with 9 other players if you want

Space Marine 2 has received new updates introducing Terminator Sorcerers as playable or enemy units, alongside official Steam Workshop support, expanding the ways players can experience Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 shooter. The changes broaden both the game's customisation options and its cooperative scope, letting the community create and share content while also enabling much larger group sessions than before.

The most notable practical change is that Steam Workshop integration now allows co-op sessions to be expanded to include up to nine other players, a significant increase from the game's original smaller squad-based format. Combined with the addition of Terminator Sorcerers, a heavily armoured and powerful unit type from the Warhammer 40,000 setting, the update gives players fresh enemies or allies to contend with, while modding support via Steam Workshop opens the door to community-made content extending the game's longevity.
