Reality TV personality Spencer Pratt has posted a graphic animated reenactment of Lindsay Clancy's alleged killing of her three children, inserting himself into the fierce public debate surrounding her ongoing murder trial in Massachusetts. Clancy, 36, faces trial for the January 2023 strangulation deaths of her children, with her defence citing severe post-partum psychosis and prosecutors arguing the killings were premeditated. The case has sharply split public opinion, with some rallying in sympathy over her mental state and others, including Pratt, branding her a calculated murderer, making his intervention part of a wider row over how the case is being discussed online.

Pratt, 43, shared the Tim Burton-style cartoon on X depicting Clancy's alleged movements before her own attempted suicide, which left her paralysed, alongside a lengthy statement condemning her sympathisers as "goblins" corrupted by social media. He described the deaths of Cora, five, Dawson, three, and Callan, eight months, in graphic detail, and criticised TikTok users defending Clancy or blaming her husband, Patrick. The former Hills star, who unsuccessfully ran for Los Angeles mayor earlier this year, argued that online culture had fostered irrational sympathy for Clancy, claiming society had "officially broken bad".
