Spice Girls (Mostly) Reunite For Melanie C’s Wedding to Chris Dingwall
Melanie C, known as "Sporty Spice" during her Spice Girls career, married Australian model Chris Dingwall on Saturday 18 July in a private ceremony at Country House Cumbria in the Lake District. Most of her former bandmates attended, including Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell-Horner, though Victoria Beckham was absent as she was in New York for the 2026 FIFA World Cup third-place match and final.
Chisholm, 52, wore a floor-length white gown and carried a bouquet of wildflowers, while Beckham, despite not attending in person, lent her a personal dress as the bride's "something borrowed" after learning Chisholm's original order needed alterations she had no time for. The couple, who met on the dating app Raya in 2023, had already held a legal ceremony in Dingwall's native Australia after he proposed in Mallorca last July, before Saturday's UK wedding. Beckham has since offered to design Chisholm a bespoke "dream dress" based on the original piece, using vintage lace for a future, larger celebration.
