Spider-Man: Brand New Day 4K Steelbook Designs Seemingly Revealed, Since Removed by Amazon

IGN · 5 hours ago

Amazon briefly published, then removed, artwork for the 4K UHD Steelbook and Collector's Edition releases of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, offering fans an unofficial first look at the physical media packaging. The listings appeared over the weekend at Amazon and Walmart, both of which had already opened preorders for the special editions roughly a week earlier, before reverting to the film's standard poster art.

The $150.99 Collector's Edition recreates the iconic Amazing Fantasy #15 cover, which the film itself references in its opening scene, while the Steelbook depicts Spider-Man battling the crime syndicate "The Hand". Online reaction favoured the Steelbook art, with some fans on Reddit dismissing the pricier Collector's Edition design. Standard 4K preorders are currently discounted to $32.49, the Steelbook costs $44.99, and the Collector's Edition is out of stock at both retailers, with no confirmed release date yet set. The film itself has grossed $1.67 billion worldwide, putting it on track to surpass Spider-Man: No Way Home.
