Fortnite’s final Chapter 7 Season 3 update, patch v41.30, adds a larger-than-expected range of collaborations, events and gameplay features before the next season. Its return of Spider-Man, alongside Simpsons, John Wick and Lil Tecca content, gives players new reasons to play during the season’s closing weeks.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day cosmetics arrived in the Item Shop, while Web-Shooters were temporarily restored and can be found through the Spider-Man NPC or themed backpacks. The Simpsons’ Springfield Reload map featured The Continental Hotel and John Wick quests, and the update also introduced new sprite variants, Story Quests, cosmetics and the Lucky Locator Gizmo for finding uncollected sprites.

Explained simply
Fortnite is a free-to-play online game made by Epic Games, best known for its battle royale mode, in which up to 100 players compete to be the last player or team standing. The game is regularly divided into chapters and seasons, which change its map, activities and rewards.
It often works with film, television, music and comic-book brands to add character outfits, themed locations and limited-time items. Spider-Man is one of Fortnite’s recurring guest characters, while The Simpsons and John Wick are separate entertainment franchises also being featured in the game.
