Spider-Man's Web Shooters have returned to Fortnite for the first time since Chapter 4, Season 2, timed to promote the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland himself announced the comeback alongside a clip from the movie, bringing back one of the game's most popular mobility items, which lets players swing around the map like the wall-crawler.

The Fortnite item shop is set to update on 30 July with new Brand New Day-themed cosmetics, including a Spider-Man skin based on his suit from the film, complete with an unmasked customisation option showing Holland's likeness. New Hulk and Jon Bernthal's Punisher variants, both also featured in the movie, are joining as well. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is released in cinemas worldwide on 31 July 2026.
