Nintendo has added nine tracks from the new Switch 2 spin-off Splatoon Raiders to its Nintendo Music app, released as a "special release" to coincide with the game's launch. The selection offers players a taste of the game's soundtrack, continuing the series' reputation for upbeat, funky music, and comes shortly after Nintendo Life awarded Splatoon Raiders a 9/10 review, calling it the best single-player entry in the Splatoon series to date.

The nine tracks include "Anarchy Castaway" by Deep Cut, "Happy Hideout v2" and "Cartograffiti v2" by The Mechanic, "Initiation of the Coastonids", "HubBubble" by DJ Spinsalt, "Denergy" by purines, "Escarpment Torment" by DHA, "Claustral" by The Maverick, and "Avian Ascension" by Deep Cut. It remains unclear whether the rest of the game's soundtrack will follow, with some fans noting that full OST releases for other titles, such as Donkey Kong Bananza, have taken up to a year to complete.
