Splatoon Raiders players have found ways to blast through Awlmun Den, one of the game's toughest challenges, in a fraction of the intended time. Rather than following the level's demanding platforming route to reach and defeat a Stinger at the top, dedicated fans have used clever combinations of gadgets to skip large portions of the stage entirely, motivated partly by the high-level rewards on offer for clearing it on Ultra Spicy difficulty.

One Reddit post showed a route using Flywire, Jump Bomb and Dash Bomb to cut the level down to just over 20 seconds, while a YouTube video went further still, using similar gadgets with cooldown-reducing mods to skip almost the whole level and finish in around nine seconds. The Polygon writer praises this ingenuity as proof of the flexibility of the game's gadget and mod system, and hopes future updates will include more platforming challenges to showcase it. Splatoon Raiders is currently available on Nintendo Switch 2.
