Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader turned heads at a Council of Fashion Designers of America event in Manhattan, marking the start of New York Fashion Week with a sheer black lace midi dress. The appearance continues a run of headline-grabbing outfits for the 29-year-old and comes amid heightened public interest in her personal life following a publicised split from former "Dancing with the Stars" partner Gleb Savchenko.

The dress featured short ruffled sleeves, a high neckline and a fitted, below-the-knee silhouette, worn with black undergarments, pointed-toe pumps and minimal jewellery. Nader and Savchenko, paired on the show's 33rd season in 2024, split in April 2025, after which she accused him of infidelity on her Freeform series "Love Thy Nader" — an allegation he has firmly denied. The story has resurfaced as Nader's sister, Sarah Jane, prepares to compete on the new season of "Dancing with the Stars", though Savchenko will not be returning as a professional dancer.
