GSC Game World has released a preview video for Cost of Hope, the first story expansion for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The DLC will allow players to explore Iron Forest and the Chornobyl Power Plant, expanding areas of the game’s Zone that were previously inaccessible.

Cost of Hope is said to contain dozens of hours of content, including new weapons, equipment, hubs, quests and locations. Players will continue as Skif in events running alongside the main story, accessing the expansion through PDA notifications; it launches on 20 August for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
