Star Trek: Legends, the strategy RPG from QubicGames, is being delisted from all digital storefronts, with publishers confirming via a Steam community post that the game will be sunset entirely. This matters because, once taken offline, the game will become permanently unplayable even for those who already purchased it, as it requires an online connection to function.

The game will stop being available to download from 20th August 2026, though it has already vanished from the Nintendo Switch eShop without prior notice. Existing owners will have until 3rd September 2026 to keep playing before the servers go offline for good, and the developers have not indicated any plans for refunds. It remains unclear whether the shutdown affects all console versions, and Nintendo Life says it has contacted the publisher for clarification.
