Star Trek is marking the 60th anniversary of its television debut with the release of a new box set collecting every episode of The Original Series. The show, created by Gene Roddenberry, first aired on NBC on 8 September 1966 and went on to become one of the most influential science fiction franchises in television history, spawning spin-off series, an animated adaptation and numerous feature films.

The new collection, Star Trek: The Complete Original Series 60th Anniversary, contains all 79 episodes with remastered special effects, alongside nine exclusive lobby cards that together form the anniversary logo and a miniature vinyl record featuring the show's theme music and sound effects. It is available now on both DVD and Blu-ray through standard physical media retailers.
