‘Star Trek Scouts’ Sets Second Season YouTube Premiere On Star Trek Day — Comic-Con
Paramount has announced that the second season of the preschool animated series *Star Trek: Scouts* will premiere on YouTube on 8 September, known as Star Trek Day. The announcement, made during San Diego Comic-Con, extends the franchise’s children’s offering and continues its effort to introduce younger viewers to Star Trek themes of exploration and learning.
The series follows three eight-year-old friends, JR, Sprocket and Ron, as they train to become future Starfleet Explorers through space-based missions. Produced by Nickelodeon Digital Studio with CBS Studios, the first season is already available via Nickelodeon’s *Blaze and the Monster Machines* YouTube channel; its finale involved the characters protecting a Klingon farmer’s corn from Tribbles.
