‘Star Wars: Battlefront 3’ Reportedly in Development

Star Wars Battlefront 3 is reportedly in development, with DICE and Respawn Entertainment working together on the project. If accurate, the partnership would bring the studio behind the recent Battlefront games together with the team behind Star Wars Jedi, renewing interest in a mainline sequel after a long gap.

Battlefront 2 was released in 2017, and its post-launch support ran for more than two years, ending with 25 free updates, including the Battle on Scarif. Respawn also brings experience with shooters such as Titanfall and Apex Legends, alongside its Star Wars Jedi games. The report does not confirm how the studios will divide the work, what the game will play like, or when it might be released.
