Publisher Fangamer has announced a physical release for Stardew Valley – Switch 2 Edition, with pre-orders now open. The upgraded version of the beloved farming and life sim first launched digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 last year, reaching European players earlier this year, and this physical release gives fans a boxed alternative alongside the existing free digital upgrade for current owners.

The standard edition costs $39 and includes an 18-page full-colour illustrated instruction manual, alongside the base game and upgrade pack running Version 1.6, with future updates available as free downloads. Shipping is scheduled for 5th February 2027, and pre-orders can be placed via Fangamer's website. Those who already own Stardew Valley on Switch can still access the Switch 2 Edition upgrade for free without needing the new physical copy.
