Court hears former friend’s account of officer’s celebrity photo-seeking habits

Daily Mail ·

A former friend of Beau Lamarre-Condon told the NSW Supreme Court that he used to seek out celebrities, including Pitbull and Kourtney Kardashian, for photographs. Her account also covered their discussions about Covid restrictions and her later decision to contact police, making it part of the evidence in Lamarre-Condon’s trial over the deaths of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

The friend said she met Lamarre-Condon in Sydney in 2010 and that, on 20 February 2024, he asked her to dispose of a phone, claiming it was connected to stolen police documents. She contacted police after seeing reports about the alleged murders and messages sent from Baird’s phone after his death. Lamarre-Condon, 31, denies two counts of domestic violence-related murder and a separate aggravated break and enter charge; the Crown alleges he shot Davies, while Lamarre-Condon says Davies accidentally shot himself during a struggle.
