Detroit indie rock artist Stef Chura has released two new songs, "Lovesick" and "Thunder And Lightning," ahead of her upcoming album Dancing Alone On The Concrete, marking her return after a seven-year absence. The album was recorded in Athens, Georgia with producer Robert Schneider and members of the Elephant 6 collective, and its lead single "Danny" featured contributions from two members of R.E.M.

"Lovesick" is a stripped-down piano ballad that Chura says explores desiring love and the pull towards toxic relationships, while "Thunder And Lightning" is described as an anxious, upbeat keyboard rock track evoking early-2000s indie sounds, inspired by turning jealousy into curiosity. Dancing Alone On The Concrete is set for release on 2 October via Saddle Creek, with pre-orders now available.
