Stefano Pozzebon Named CNN International Correspondent Based In Rome
CNN has appointed Stefano Pozzebon as an international correspondent based in its Rome bureau, expanding his role after years contributing to the network from Latin America. He will now report on major stories across Italy and Europe, working alongside CNN Vatican correspondent Christopher Lamb, who leads coverage of the papacy.
Pozzebon previously served as a CNN contributor in Bogotá, Colombia, and Caracas, Venezuela, covering Latin America in both English and Spanish. He most recently reported from Venezuela on the devastating twin earthquakes that killed thousands. A graduate of City University London's International Journalism programme, he is fluent in Portuguese in addition to his native Italian.
