Steven Spielberg has returned to science fiction with his new film Disclosure Day, marking his first foray into the genre since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 18 years ago. Collider has exclusively shared a featurette revealing a pivotal train sequence from the film, which stars Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor and reunites Spielberg with longtime screenwriter David Koepp. The project continues Spielberg's long history of exploring extraterrestrial contact, following earlier works such as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and War of the Worlds.

The film follows Margaret Fairchild (Blunt) and Daniel Kellner (O'Connor), who go on the run after Margaret inadvertently broadcasts an alien language during a live news segment, prompting a covert intelligence agency to pursue them. The featured clip shows the pair hiding in a freight car packed with baby grand pianos as Margaret suffers a panic attack, with commentary from Blunt, O'Connor, Spielberg and editor Sarah Broshar explaining how the scene's design and sound reflect her psychological turmoil.
