Stevie Wonder Hitting the Road for 18-Date ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ 50th Anniversary Tour: See Dates

Stevie Wonder has announced an 18-date tour to mark the 50th anniversary of his acclaimed 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, during which he will perform the record in full. The tour begins on 13 October at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, before taking in several European cities and then moving to the United States for a run of winter shows.

After Birmingham, the tour visits Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Hannover, Cologne, Amsterdam, Dublin, London, Manchester and Glasgow, before Wonder heads to Madison Square Garden in New York on 19 November, followed by Chicago, Washington DC, Detroit and a closing show at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on 19 December. Presale for the international dates begins on 9 September, with general sale on 11 September, while US tickets (excluding Detroit) go on general sale on 10 September and Detroit tickets follow on 15 September. Songs in the Key of Life, released in 1976, topped the Billboard 200, produced two number-one singles in "I Wish" and "Sir Duke", and won Album of the Year at the 1977 Grammy Awards.
